Ron Nelson has nearly 50 years of experience as a marketing researcher, with the past 30 spent as founder and owner of Nelson Research, Inc. Ron will share his wealth of knowledge with WVU students on Oct.24th at seven p.m in room 205 in Martin Hall. His presentation will be about “the use and abuse of Marketing Research.”
Ron has developed a one-of-a-kind research practice that goes well beyond reporting statistically significant results to providing marketing based on significant knowledge. Ron’s clients include Novartis, Kimberly-Clark, Hasbro, and Abbott Labs, providing custom research design and analysis for national and global new products, positioning, creative, and innovation initiatives.
He is the former executive vice president of the Consumer Response Corporation, and he was the Senior Vice President and Director of Research at the Marschalk Advertising Agency.
He is a former Statistical Consultant to the Survey Division of MRCA. This presentation will be open to all students, staff, and faculty. Martin Hall Agency is handling publicity for the event. Don’t miss this is a unique and informative presentation.
