Natalie Eddy

Adjunct Instructor

Natalie Eddy has been an adjunct faculty member for the WVU Reed College of Media since 2004. She is the lead instructor for the public relations minor and teaches Introduction to Public Relations, Writing for Public Relations, Applied Public Relations and IMC for Public Relations. 

Eddy is also an adjunct instructor at Southern New Hampshire University, teaching a variety of public relations and media online classes. Eddy is a veteran journalist with a wide variety of professional experience, ranging from strategic communication writing to magazine and newspaper reporting. She has served as external relations writer/editor for the WVU Reed College of Media and worked as a public relations specialist at WVU News and Information Services and the WVU Health Sciences Marketing Group. Prior to coming to WVU, Eddy worked as a reporter for two newspapers, covering everything from governmental meetings to murder trials. 

Eddy earned a bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the College of Media, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 1996. She has received numerous writing awards throughout her career as a journalist and is a member of the Public Relations Society of America, Society of Professional Journalists, Society of Environmental Journalists and Kappa Tau Alpha.
