College of Media Scholars Program
The College of Media Scholars Program provides an academically talented and diverse group of students stimulating academic environments to foster and develop independent thinking, creativity, and leadership.
Class size varies depending on the strength of each entering class; however, each incoming cohort is limited to 20 students.
Students who meet the criteria for the WVU Honors College are automatically admitted to the College of Media Scholars Program. These criteria are:

While there is no application deadline to be considered for admission to the College of Media Scholars Program, students should apply early if they wish to be considered for placement in the Honors College Residence Hall. (Students who qualify for the College of Media Scholars Program may elect not to participate in the WVU Honors College.) Offers of admission to the Scholars Program will be made by February.
