The Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA) is the world’s largest professional organization exclusively serving the electronic news profession including industry professionals, journalism educators, and students. RTDNA is dedicated to encouraging and supporting excellence in the field of electronic journalism.

The WVU Student Chapter of RTDNA concentrates on educating up and coming journalists in every aspect of the profession for television, radio, online and other industry careers. Professional speakers and industry experts work with students at WVU to develop their skills in these fields and students get hands on training and experience in what it takes to make it in the world of electronic journalism. National conventions each year in Las Vegas also provide networking and job opportunities for graduating students. The WVU Chapter of RTDNA is one of only 41 in the United States.

Local and/or national membership is open to anyone interested in any aspect of online journalism, in front of or behind the camera, as well as anyone interested in learning more about this ever changing field.
