WV Uncovered project hosts multimedia workshops
The first weekend of December, faculty and staff of the WVU P.I. Reed School of Journalism’s “West Virginia Uncovered” project held an advanced video workshop, during which participants spent two days shooting and producing videos about people working in the environs of High Street in Morgantown, W.Va. Ten staff members from community papers learned advanced video techniques and editing with Final Cut digital editing software.
On Wednesday, December 14, the School will host a a photography and blogging workshop for Randolph County high school teachers. With support from the Board of Education, teachers will attend the workshop to learn digital media skills, which they can use in their classrooms. The InterMountain newspaper in Elkins is co-sponsoring the workshop.
