The College of Media offers its high-performing undergraduate students an accelerated,
five-year program that provides qualified students with Bachelor’s and Master’s
of Science in Journalism degrees and an even broader array of career opportunities.
Master of Science in Journalism
The College of Media’s Master of Science in Journalism (MSJ) program provides
students with an advanced understanding of media disciplines, preparing them
for careers in the industry or academia.
MSJ program offers students the choice of two tracks: the teaching-research
track for those who wish to go pursue a doctoral degree and the professional
track for those seeking professional opportunities in mass communications.
Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications
The Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) master’s degree program equips
students with the latest strategic communications techniques that differentiate
them from others in the field. Our 11-course master’s degree program helps
students view marketing as a whole picture and not just as separate entities
of public relations, advertising and marketing communications.
In addition to the full master’s degree program, we also offer a five- course
graduate certificate in
Master of Science in Data Marketing Communications
The Data Marketing Communications (DMC) master’s degree program is the nation’s
first graduate degree focused specifically on the impact data has on marketing
DMC program addresses a critical industry need for communicators who
understand how to use data to drive strategic messaging and marketing communications
campaigns that engage and influence audiences.
