Start the Adventure Before Classes Begin
The WVU Reed College of Media and Adventure WV are offering a unique summer orientation experience designed specifically for first-year Journalism and Strategic Communications students. Learn about yourself, your classmates, the College of Media, WVU and the state of West Virginia – and create long-lasting connections with College of Media upperclassmen and faculty.
Adventure WV: College of Media participants also receive:
- Priority enrollment in a College of Media section of the fall orientation course
- Hands-on experience producing multimedia projects documenting your Adventure WV experiences
- 3 credit hours upon successful completion of the program
During the summer program, participants travel throughout the state to produce multimedia projects documenting their Adventure WV experiences. Upon successful completion of the program, students earn three credit hours.
Additional details and registration information for upcoming Adventure WV: College of Media programs are available on the WVU Adventure WV website.
